Shipping policy
Ceramics
I ship ceramics via USPS priority mail with tracking and insurance.
I package and ship each ceramic piece individually for optimal protection in transit. That means double-boxed: cushioned snugly in the inner box, with an additional two inches of cushioning on all sides between the inner and outer boxes. Some less delicate small items ship single-boxed, with more than two inches of cushioning on all sides.
Packing materials may include cardboard boxes, biodegradable packing peanuts, air pillows, kraft packing paper, bubble wrap, stretch wrap, and packing tape. I reuse void fillers from packages I've received whenever possible.
Books
I ship books via USPS priority mail with tracking and insurance.
I package hardcover books in a box that is designed specifically to protect them, and paperbacks in the cutest holographic bubble mailer you've ever seen.
Prints
I ship prints via USPS priority mail with tracking and insurance, in a flat rigid mailer.
Stickers
I ship stickers via USPS priority mail with tracking and insurance, in a flat rigid mailer.
Apparel
I use a print-on-demand service to save space in my studio. This means that designs are both printed and mailed to you by a third party. As a result, the shipping cost for apparel is calculated separately from purchases at checkout, and apparel arrives in a completely separate package.
