Try your hand(s) at the pottery wheel! Kate will provide a gentle introduction to the fundamentals and help you develop the skills to make your first pots.

Sessions are two and a half hours long. We'll cover

• choosing your clay: clay bodies, quantities, and wedging
• preparing clay on the wheel: centering and coning
• making a cup or bowl: establishing a floor, pulling walls, and finishing the rim 
• removing the piece from the wheel!

At the end of the session, you'll choose a glaze from Kate's collection. Then Kate will glaze and fire your piece(s) and they will be ready for pickup within two weeks.
