Quote is an English translation of words spoken by French abuse survivor Gisèle Pelicot, who declined anonymity during her abusers‘ trial, insisting SHAME IS NOT FOR US TO HAVE IT IS FOR THEM. (original: «La honte, ce n'est pas à nous de l'avoir, c'est à eux.»
Words are depicted in bold caps with black outlines on a white background with intentional carving artifacts. Each print has unique variations from the etching process. Framed in your choice of black or birch and matted.
